Wellington City wastewater projects

About 70,000 cubic metres of wastewater is pumped along 1,000km of pipelines beneath Wellington's streets to treatment stations at Moa Point and western Karori every day.

Lower North Terrace sewer renewal

145 metres of new 160mm pipe laid by open trench and pipe bursting.

Thule Street, Highbury sewer renewal 

Work is almost complete on replacing 90 metres of pipe.

Upcoming work

Projects are due to start shortly on Rubgy St, Grove Rd, Tasman St, Gosnenor Tce, Kelburn Pde, Lonsdale Cr, Glen Rd, Raroa Rd, Alfred St, Tirangi Rd, Russell Tce, Spencer St, Mount Pleasant Rd, Upland Rd and North Terrace.
