Improving the carrying capacity of the stormwater networks is a priority for Upper Hutt.

New stormwater drainage is jacked beneath the railway line in Upper Hutt.

Stormwater pipe renewals

Davis St - 310 metres of 900/825mm diameter concrete pipe. Complete.

Hudson Ave - 120 metres of 1050mm diameter concrete pipe.  Started on 6 February.

Exchange St   - 90 metres of 525mm diameter concrete pipe. Reinstatement work in progress.

CCTV inspection 

Contractor Bob Morgan Drainage is carrying out inspection work on stormwater pipes and sewage pipe. Any issues identified will be programmed for renewal or repair.
