Celebrating five years of success

Five years on and Capacity Infrastructure Services Ltd has fulfilled its brief to consistently provide excellent water services management in a cost effective way for its shareholders - Wellington City and Hutt City councils.

David Hill, Capacity Chief Executive, says that by creating a centre of water services excellence in the region, Capacity has been able to provide these services more efficiently than when services were being duplicated within individual councils.

"So much so that Upper Hutt City Council decided to come on board and have us manage their water services from July 2008," says Mr Hill.

Commenting on the completion of this year's Annual Report David Hill says a large part of the reporting exercise focused on quantifying savings realised for the councils.

"We’ve spent some time this year looking at the savings and wider benefits for our shareholders over our first five years of operation.  This has been an interesting exercise and has shown some significant benefits and over $30 million worth of savings to our shareholders. "
