If you are interested in tendering for upcoming contracts the documents below show the standards expected and documentation required by all contractors.

Health and safety

Our aim is to introduce a consistent approach to on-site health and safety across the Wellington region.  We are currently reviewing all the health and safety standards and processes used by our client Councils as their requirements for contractors differ from Council to Council.

Regardless of the outcome of our review we will continue to audit a contractor's generic health and safety documentation prior to acceptance of a contractl  This is to ensure compliance with the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 and the associated guidelines and regulations.

Site-specific health and safety plans also need to be approved before any contractor occupies a site.
