The Board

Peter Allport joined the Capacity Infrastructure Services Board as an independent Director in March 2008. Peter has experience in corporate management and governance. He is currently Chairman of Bell McCaw Bampfylde Ltd, Octave Investments Ltd and a trustee of the Karori Wildlife Sanctuary.

Ray Wallace was appointed to the Capacity Infrastructure Services Board driving its establishment in 2004. Ray is a Councillor for Hutt City Council and is a member of the Hutt Valley Services committee, Finance and Audit committee, District Plan committee and the Chair of the Operations and Compliance committee.

Peter Leslie joined the Capacity Infrastructure Services Board as an indepentant Director in August 2007. Peter is the Deputy Chair for Wellington Lifelines Group.

Andy Foster was appointed to the Board of Capacity Infrastructure Services in November 2007. Andy is a Wellington City Councillor and is a member of the Council's Strategy and Policy committee, the Chair for the Development Contributions subcommittee and Portfolio Leader for Urban Development and Transport.

Ian Hutchings was appointed to the Capacity Infrastructure Services Board on 1 July 2009.  Ian is a Senior Analyst in the Ministry of Economic Development’s Radio Spectrum Group.  Outside of the Ministry, Ian is a member of the Johnsonville Licensing (Charitable) Trust, Hutt Mana Community Trust and Chairman of Hutt Mana Charitable Trust Holdings Ltd.

John Strahl joined the Board as an independent Director in December 2009.  John is an experienced commercial lawyer with extensive experience in local government commercial work as well as expertise in the financial services sector.  John has provided advice on corporate governance and trust structuring for local authorities including the establishment and funding of the Westpac Stadium.
